Two Twelve’s work for 1800 Arch Street focused on Comcast’s and NBC10’s tenant fit-outs, including offices for local television stations, a space for technology start-ups, and workspaces for Comcast’s engineers, technologists, and software architects. Designed to express the connectivity of its network and the value of its staff, this Comcast workspace represents various components that contribute to its identity: from its location in Philadelphia, people, products, and culture to its creativity and customers.
Our wayfinding program was thoughtfully devised as a color-coded system, not only celebrating the corporation's brands and values but also seamlessly aiding in office zoning and effortless navigation. Each floor’s signage program is coordinated with individual color theming and local artistic murals that signify each floor. Furthermore, to ensure a consistent and user-friendly experience for both visitors and employees, we strategically placed identifying pylons at key decision points throughout the workplace. These thoughtful additions serve as guiding beacons, fostering easy orientation while also allowing for the artistic expressions of the art program to resonate with the user.
