With over 100 millions every year, The Dubai Mall proudly holds the title of the world’s largest destination for shopping, entertainment and leisure. Offering approximately 14,000 parking spaces, the Mall struggled to operate seamlessly due to the convoluted spaces and traffic flows. After repeated attempts to alleviate navigation issues, the Mall brought in Two Twelve as wayfinding experts to develop an effective solution within three weeks that excludes the need for sign fabrication.
Two Twelve introduced a versatile signage system that maximized impact while minimizing costs for the three separate garages. Our effort involved replacing the existing signage with bold graphics on the parking walls, designing a monument-scale gantry signage, and implementing a logical, alphanumeric column identification system that serves as orientation devices for visitors.
