Founded in Baltimore in 1873, The Johns Hopkins Hospital is widely regarded as one of the world's leading medical institutions and consistently tops US News and World Report's list of America's Best Hospitals.

As part of The Johns Hopkins' Medical Campus Master Plan, Two Twelve collaborated with Perkins+Will to create a sophisticated signage and wayfinding system for the new clinical buildings they were designing for the hospital - the Sheikh Zayed Tower and the Charlotte R. Bloomberg Children's Center. From conducting a comprehensive wayfinding analysis to developing a well-conceived naming hierarchy, we created a comprehensive wayfinding system that knits together the new buildings and the existing historic campus while providing patients and families coming to the hospital a seamless flow of information to guide them into the hospital and to their final destination.
